POLYESTER (SMP, RMP)
Polyester steel is a most widely used prepainted steel sheet which is covered with polyester paint material baked on to its surface.
It is used for exterior panels and interior design purposes that do not require excessive processing. It generally displays superior workability, durability, and weather resistance and used for a variety of purposes; offered in a wide array of colors and degrees of polish.
The polyester steel is classified into RMP (Regular Modified Polyester) and SMP (Silicone Modified Polyester) according to the types of resin in the paint applied.
Silicon Modified Polyester Coated Steel (SMP)
SMP is a prepainted steel sheet coated and baked with paint containing silicon resin.
It is suitable for coastal area due to its excellent weather resistance.
Regular Modified Polyester Coated Steel (RMP)
RMP is widely used as a building material due to its good formability, durability and weather resistance. It is used for variety of purposes, presenting multiple colors and degree of gloss.
